Concert hair, tights & shoes etc.

Please find below information re hairstyles & tights/socks for our end of year concert.

Students must provide their own shoes, tights/socks, hair supplies and undergarments.

Tiny Tots, Pre-Ballet & Pre-Jazz classes can find this information attached to their costume bag.

UNDERWEAR

Students who feel like they need to wear undergarments under their costume must ensure these are skin coloured and cannot be seen beneath the costume. Dance specify underwear can be purchased from Bloch. It is common practice that ballet students do not wear underwear under their tutus and dance students do not wear underwear under costumes with a leotard built into them. Costumes are designed like a leotard/swimwear and are not revealing.

SHOES

All Ballet students will need leather ballet shoes (with ribbons for students in Year 3+) & theatrical pink ballet tights.

All Jazz students will need black jazz shoes.

All Tap students will need black tap shoes.

Hip Hop students will need white runners.

HAIR

Hair ties should match a student’s hair colour.

Any students who are required to wear a ballet bun must have their own bun pins (both french pins & bobby pins).

MAKE-UP

Basic make-up (optional for younger students) – natural eye shadow, blush & red lips. Black/brown eyeliner & mascara.

Make-up is not required on rehearsal days, only at performances. Make-up is optional for photo day.
