SUMMER SCHOOL 2022

Two days of Ballet, Jazz,  Hip Hop and Contemporary Dance!

Senior Summer School  (students who are in Year 6+ in 2022) – Thursday 20th & Friday 21st January, 9am to 4pm.

Junior Summer School (students who are in Year 2, 3, 4 & 5 at school in 2022) – Monday 24th & Tuesday 25th January, 9am to 4pm.

 

WHERE – Lane Cove Dance Academy – Level 2, 119 Longueville Rd, Lane Cove 2066

 

WHAT TO WEAR – Please bring appropriate comfortable clothing to dance in. Leotard & shorts for most styles, runners for hip hop, jazz shoes & ballet shoes if you have them.

WHAT TO BRING – Water bottle, snacks, hair accessories, brush, change of clothes, towel, theraband, pointe shoes, tissues and a game or book.

FOOD AND SNACKS – Lane Cove is a vibrant area with many shops in the plaza for you to buy your lunch. Alternatively pack your lunch and snacks.

CLASS BEHAVIOUR – It is important that all students are respectful towards teachers and comply with any requests made by the teacher, as the well being of the entire class is the teacher’s responsibility.

STAFF SUPERVISION – Students will be supervised by our teachers and office staff at all times. Please ensure that students are collected on time after the final class at 4 pm. Supervision will end 20 minutes after the final class. If you are running late please call the office on 9418 7338.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN – All teachers at Lane Cove Dance Academy have undergone “the working with children’s check” and are aware of their obligations under the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998.

WHEN WILL I GET CONFIRMATION? – Your timetable will be emailed to you in early January.

While Lane Cove Dance Academy takes all reasonable care in the conduct of its classes, it accepts no responsibility for injury or loss caused during classes or whilst participants are at or near the dance studio. You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and medically fit for the class and during the class you must at all time take care of your own personal safety.

COVID-19 – Summer School teachers will be following our COVID-19 Safety Plan in order to keep all students & staff safe and healthy. If your child is feeling sick or unwell in any way please keep them at home.

COST & ENROLMENT – The cost of the Summer School is $180. PLEASE NOTE Fees are non-refundable.
