SUMMER SCHOOL 2025

Four days of Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary Dance & much more!

Monday 20th to Thursday 23rd January , 9am-4pm

Open to students in Year 2 and above (school Year in 2025)

WHERE – Lane Cove Dance Academy – Level 2, 119 Longueville Rd, Lane Cove 2066

WHAT TO WEAR – Bring appropriate comfortable clothing to dance in. Leotard & shorts for most styles, runners for hip hop, jazz shoes & ballet shoes if you have them.

WHAT TO BRING – Water bottle, snacks, hair accessories, brush, change of clothes, towel, pointe shoes (if you own them), tissues and a game or book.

FOOD AND SNACKS – Lane Cove is a vibrant area with many shops in the plaza for you to buy your lunch. Alternatively pack your lunch and snacks.

CLASS BEHAVIOUR – It is important that all students are respectful towards teachers and comply with any requests made by the teacher, as the well-being of the entire class is the teacher’s responsibility.

STAFF SUPERVISION – Students will be supervised by our teachers and office staff at all times. Please ensure that students are collected on time after the final class at 4 pm. Supervision will end 20 minutes after the final class. If you are running late, please call the office on 0422 861 592.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN – All teachers at Lane Cove Dance Academy have undergone “the working with children’s check” and are aware of their obligations under the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998.

WHEN WILL I GET CONFIRMATION? – Your timetable will be emailed to you in early January.

While Lane Cove Dance Academy takes all reasonable care in the conduct of its classes, it accepts no responsibility for injury or loss caused during classes or whilst participants are at or near the dance studio. You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and medically fit for the class and during the class you must at all time take care of your own personal safety.

COST & ENROLMENT – The cost of the Summer School is $320. PLEASE NOTE Fees are non-refundable. Enrolments are open for students to attend all 4 days. If space permits, we will open enrolments for students to attend 1, 2 or 3 days.
