We hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing break. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back at dance next week, our first day of Term 4 is Monday 13th October.

We have such a busy term ahead but first we would like to reflect on some of our achievements in Term 3!
CECCHETTI BALLET EXAMINATIONS
Congratulations to the 70 students from Primary to Advanced 2 who sat their Cecchetti Ballet Examinations. We are so proud of each and every student who worked hard to achieve their best result.
You can view your child’s results via your Cecchetti Ballet Australia portal, please check your emails for instructions.
CECCHETTI BALLET SCHOLARSHIP
Congratulations Adabelle L who received the Cecchetti Ballet NSW Intermediate Scholarship for 2025.
Scholarships are awarded by the interstate Cecchetti Ballet Australia examiner who chooses from all the students who sat their exam in NSW this year! Scholarships are not purely awarded based on marks; the examiner has the tough decision of choosing students from each grade who they thought were outstanding in their examination.

RAMBERT GRADES EXAMINATIONS
Congratulations to our contemporary students who sat their Rambert Grades exam during Term 3. This is our second cohort, with 36 students from Grades 1 to 6.
We are so impressed with each student’s creativity, artistry & technique.
We received results today and are very excited to share with you that 6 students received the highest mark, High Distinction!

Congratulations to our Senior Contemporary & Intermediate Hip Hop Groups were invited to perform at TUDC’s Gala event.
PERFORMANCE GROUP SHOWCASE
Our Performance Groups ended their season with a showcase on The Canopy stage. It was a great opportunity to share our competition dancers with our LCDA community.

PARENT VOLUNTEERS
We are seeking parents who wish to be involved in volunteering during the upcoming LCDA concert season. Kids get a huge kick out of seeing their parents get involved.
We require interested parents for all of the above dates.
Duties involve signing children in and out, ensure children are safely supervised, and ready to take the stage.

TERM 4 INVOICES & COSTUME BALANCE
Term 4 invoices will be raised soon. You will receive an email once they are ready to be viewed & paid via your family portal.
Costume balances will be added to your Term 4 invoice. Your child will have a different costume for every class they are enrolled in.
If you did not advise the Academy that your child was not participating in the concert, before 1st June 2025, a costume was ordered and the full cost is now payable through your family portal. This cost must still be paid even if your child no longer attends the Academy. You will be notified once your costume is ready to be picked up.
Students with unpaid invoices will not be given their end of year concert costume, will not be able to purchase concert tickets or enrol in classes for 2026.
TERM 4 DATES
Term 4 will start on Monday 13th October and finish on Saturday 13th December.
However, our last day of classes at the studio will be Monday 8th December.
2026 SUMMER SCHOOL

Our 2026 Summer School will be held Monday 19th to Thursday 22nd January.
